In silico Analysis of OsNRT2.3 Reveals OsAMT1.3, OsZIFL9, OsbZIP27, and OsIRT1 as Potential Drought-related Genes During Nitrogen Use Efficiency in Oryza sativa L.

Nitrate transporter (NRT) is responsible for the molecular mechanism of root nitrate (NO3-) uptake system plant development. Although several NRT genes are identified and characterised in plants, knowledge NRT2 gene family its nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) function drought stress has remained elusive rice. This study conducted an silico analysis on 20 rice, wheat, soybean, barley, maize, papaya. Phylogenetic motifs clustered encoding proteins into four monophyletic groups, were significantly conserved specific domain NO3- transmembrane transporter. Interestingly, co-expression revealed that potential drought-related expressed similarly to functional NUE gene, OsNRT2.3. Furthermore, half co-expressed enriched (NUE)-related processes, such as transport, stress, macromolecule metabolic pathways, transcription regulation. Expression pattern OsNRT2.3 tissue-specific (N) response led discovery OsAMT1.3, OsZIFL9, OsbZIP27, OsIRT1 strong candidates participate during system. The iron (Fe) genes, OsZIFL9 OsIRT1, with also suggested a possible interaction Fe increasing amount Fe, which acidification rice apoplasts water deficiency. Together, this will provide valuable resource candidate can further investigate their NUE.
